David Potete

Senior Pastor/Pastor Princial

David chose to follow Christ at the age of 17. In 1991, after serving as a pastor in Joliet, IL, he and his family moved to the city to start Northwest Community Church as its Sr. Pastor. He has been happily married to Pam, the love of his life, since 1978. They have four children and 8 grandchildren.

His loves include Chicago, chocolate, hotdogs (with NO ketchup), Oreos, Oreo Blizzards, running marathons, and racing up tall buildings.  

David holds undergraduate degrees in both business and pastoral administration and a Master’s degree in urban ministry.

David decidió seguir a Cristo a la edad de 17 años. En 1991, después de servir como pastor en Joliet, IL, él y su familia se mudaron a la ciudad para comenzar Northwest Community Church como su Pastor Principal.  Ha estado felizmente casado con Pam, el amor de su vida, desde 1978. Tienen cuatro hijos y 8 nietos. 

Sus amores incluyen Chicago, chocolate, perritos calientes (sin salsa de tomate), Oreos, Oreo Blizzards, correr maratones y correr por edificios altos.
David posee títulos universitarios en administración de empresas y pastoral y una maestría en ministerio urbano.

Tommy Lewis

Tommy Lewis has been a pastor since 1992. He has pastored in Alabama and Georgia. He was born and raised in Alabama and graduated from Welch College in 1993. Tommy met Christine at Welch College and they married in 1992. They have four children: Allison, Jonathan (and Lydia joined in 2018), Stephen and Joshua. They purposefully moved to Chicago to work at Northwest Community Church in 2002. They are thankful that God has allowed them to work at Northwest Community Church and look forward to many more years serving God in Chicago.

Tommy Lewis ha sido pastor desde 1992. Ha sido pastor en Alabama y Georgia. Nació y creció en Alabama y se graduó de Welch College en 1993. Tommy conoció a Christine en Welch College y se casaron en 1992. Tienen cuatro hijos: Allison, Jonathan (y Lydia se unieron en 2018), Stephen y Joshua. A propósito se mudaron a Chicago para trabajar en Northwest Community Church en 2002. Están agradecidos de que Dios les haya permitido trabajar en Northwest Community Church y esperan muchos más años sirviendo a Dios en Chicago.

Dustin Williams

Youth Pastor/Pastor de Jóvenes

Dustin was born and raised in Oklahoma. He accepted the call into youth ministry at 16. Since then Dustin has been involved in student ministry in numerous ways including being a camp counselor, game director, and speaker, after-school teacher, children’s pastor, and teen (YUTE) pastor.

In 2006, Dustin received his Bachelor of Arts in youth ministry with a minor in missions at Randal University in Oklahoma where he met his wife Sara. They have two children: Noah and Olivia and a dog, Mozart. Together they have been a part of Northwest Community Church since September of 2008. 

Dustin is a huge fan of Oklahoma University football, retro video games, and the TV show Survivor. You may also spot him biking to his job downtown where he works for NBC Golf even in the winter. 

 Dustin nació y creció en un pequeño pueblo en el sureste de Oklahoma. Aceptó el llamado al ministerio juvenil a los 16 años. Desde entonces, Dustin ha participado en el ministerio estudiantil de numerosas maneras, incluyendo ser un consejero de campamento, director de juegos y orador, maestro después de la escuela, pastor de niños y pastor adolescente (YUTE).

En 2006, Dustin recibió su Bachillerato en Artes en el ministerio juvenil con un menor en misiones en la Universidad Randal en Oklahoma, donde conoció a su esposa Sara.  Tienen dos hijos: Noah y Olivia y un perro, Mozart.  Juntos han sido parte de Northwest Community Church desde septiembre de 2008.
 
 Dustin es un gran fanático del fútbol de la Universidad de Oklahoma, los videojuegos retro y el programa de televisión Survivor.  También puede verlo andar en bicicleta a su trabajo en el centro, donde trabaja para NBC Golf incluso en invierno.
